Organisations who have diving operations in the offshore energy industry and the near-shore or inshore diving industries face a complex environment with regard to management of the Health Safety and Environment (HSE) agenda and dive regulations.
We can help meet these requirements by providing access to a 24/7/365 diving emergency service for emergency diving medical advice covering primary and emergency care. We can also provide access to a Diving Medical Advisor with diving and hyperbaric medical support, as required under IMCA Regulation D 014. Our dive medical services can help your organisation standardise your offshore diving medical services against industry best practice in line with IMCA requirements.
Our MedDive services are provided by a team of doctors trained to DMAC level 1 and 2d, and with experience and qualifications in a mixture of occupational health, emergency medical care, general practice and anaesthesia as well as diving and hyperbaric medical care. Clinical supervision, oversight and governance of the team are provided by a DMAC member with over 30 years' clinical diving and hyperbaric medicine experience and industry exposure.
Our service provides clinical support to dive supervisors or superintendents of the dive project and to their dive medical technicians. This support is provided by appropriately qualified and experienced physicians based onshore and enables your organisation to meet the guidance outlined in IMCA D 014.
