HSE OFFSHORE MEDIC COURSE
Course participants are assessed on Advanced Life Support (ALS), dealing with medical emergencies, trauma management and history taking. There are five assessments in total as part of the course: two written exams, a trauma assessment, ALS assessment and both abdominal and respiratory OSCEs (objective structured clinical examinations).
Our intensive HSE Offshore Medic course will be held on the following dates in 2023:
Virtual: 13 - 17 March | In person: 21 - 23 March
Virtual: 8 - 12 May | In person: 16 - 18 May
Virtual: 19 - 23 June | In person: 27 - 29 June

OFFSHORE MEDIC DIVING AWARENESS COURSE
Developed by our diving medical specialists in conjunction with our clinical training manager, who has extensive experience both as a medic on diving support vessels and as a hyperbaric nurse, our new Offshore Medic Diving Awareness course is now available to book.
This one-day course is designed to give offshore medics an understanding of the role of the medic on a Diving Support Vessel, and covers the injuries and illnesses medics may encounter when caring for divers offshore and also the relevant diving regulations.
The course will be held on the following dates in 2023:
Friday 19 May
Friday 30 June
Friday 1 September
Friday 13 October
Friday 15 December
These dates immediately follow our Offshore Medic Course, making it convenient for those attending to have the Diving Awareness course as an optional add-on.

FIRST AID FOR MENTAL HEALTH | ONE-DAY COURSE
Every year, approximately one in four people in the UK will experience a mental health problem. Mental Health First Aid training encourages early detection and intervention by providing participants with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions, and the skills to start a conversation surrounding mental health.
Our one-day First Aid for Mental Health course is open to all and is scheduled for the following dates in 2023:
