World Mental Health Day

Oct. 10 is World Mental Health Day, a time to raise awareness of this key issue around the world and mobilize efforts of support, according to the WHO. It’s an opportunity for all stakeholders working on mental health issues to talk about their work, and what more needs to be done to make mental health care a reality for people worldwide.
International SOS will host a panel of experts to take a look at emotional support challenges, especially as travel continues to increase and expatriates and their families return to remote assignments. We’ll take a look at the support available, as well as the importance of having a plan in place for when these issues arise. Case studies highlighting the importance of Duty of Care when it comes to emotional support will also be presented.
