Various U.S. CENTCOM AOR locations
PROBLEM:
Turnaround times were on average 33 days and the previous year there were extensive worker injuries and DBA Insurance expenses.

Based on the knowledge and experience of the problem at hand, the turnaround time to perform the MOD-15 exams was reduced from 33 days to 6.5 days.
IMPACT:
- Employees ineligible to return to work were discovered much sooner, reducing losses resulting from worker injuries.
- Over the course of 10 years, the contractor attributed $56 Million USD in associated Defense Base Act Insurance expense savings related to the medical screening and return-to-work programs.
